Archisan Dev ("we", "our", or "us") created Syllabuzz as a free Android application. This service is provided at no cost and is intended for use as is.
1. Information Collection & Offline Storage
Syllabuzz is built with an offline-first architecture. All of your personal study data, including:
- Syllabus topic completion checklists
- Target exam countdown deadlines
- Study notes and revision radar analytics
- App settings and sound preferences
are saved solely on your local device. We do not transmit, sell, or sync this personal study information to external cloud servers.
2. User Accounts & Personal Data
Syllabuzz does not require user registration. You do not need to provide your real name, email, phone number, or payment details to use the application.
3. Device Permissions
The app may request access to standard device capabilities strictly needed for functionality:
- Notifications: To deliver scheduled study reminders and exam countdown alerts configured by you.
- Vibrator: To provide haptic feedback during interactive features (e.g. topic wheel spin).
4. Third-Party Services
The app uses standard Google Play Services for distribution and performance. These services may collect technical identifiers according to Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
5. Children's Privacy
Our app does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13.
